Address Filter (AF)
Emue’s patent pending Address Filter (AF) solution redefines the way in which organizations provide consumers with access to their secure online services.
As opposed to accessing a website through a public domain name, such as a generic website address, E-AF manages each users unique and personalized ‘virtual’ URL, which is provided to them as the only means by which they can gain access to specific online services.
These URLs do not actually represent standard URLs. Instead they are domain names supplemented with unique input data pertaining to each user, resulting in unique virtual user website addresses which have to be typed into the address line of the Internet browser.
Once activated by each user, they are no longer able to access secure online services through the public domain name of the corresponding service and can only provide their secondary authentication factor (password, one-time-passcode (OTP) or encoded PIN etc.) by accessing the online services using their AF managed virtual URL.
This solution provides affordable, clientless and device independent multi-factor mutual authentication.
When supplemented with Emue’s PIN Generated one-time-passcode (PASS), a One-Time ‘virtual’ URL (OTU) is created which is managed by the AF which is able to significantly reduce the residual threats associated with any static credential used for online access purposes.
