Mobile Authentication Platform (MAP)

the MAP feature provides a strong authentication and synchronisation capability necessary for aligning sensitive and feature rich applications with specific mobile phones.

Without Emue’s patent pending reciprocal authentication mechanism (ECHO), it is not possible to secure business applications on today’s mobile phone platform unless linked in with a manufacturer’s proprietary SIM based security or with the handset itself.

MAP leverages the ECHO technology as the means by which to provide a mobile authentication platform capable of providing an assurance of processing integrity specific to any ubiquitous Java™ enabled mobile phone.

Without MAP, it is not possible to secure an application and corresponding processes to a known mobile phone.  As a result, the ability by which fraud can occur, from the cloning of mobile phones to the extraction of sensitive content, is deemed too high to risk the innovative deployment of new products and services.
