Clamshell

The Emue Clamshell is an economical alternative to the Emue Card with a slightly thicker (2mm) for factor. The clamshell can be used in all Emue solutions with the exception of applications that require ISO credit card based infrastructure, such as ATM and point-of-sale transactions.

The clamshell devices come with optional embedded physical proximity capabilities to enable the convergence of both logical and physical access into a single device.  This convergence of access capabilities creates a compelling business case for corporate SSL VPN access with integrated physical access capabilities, thus reducing both the associated operating costs and the risks related to the loss of independent devices used only for the purposes of logical access.
